Այս տարվա հուվարը շատ տարբերվում էր այն բոլոր մնացած հունվարներից, որոնք ես անցկացրել եմ դպրոցական կյանքի ընթացքում։ Քոլեջում հունվարյան բոլոր դիջիթեքները, ստուգատեսները եւ միջոցառումները ավելի հետաքրքիր դարձրին ուսումը։ Շատ հետաքրիր անցան նաեւ հայոց լեզվի եւ գրականության դասերը։  Բավականին շատ բան իմացա հայկական բարբառների մասին, որովհետև ձմեռային ազգագրական փառատոնի շրջանակում մենք ուսումնասիրում էինք Մշո բարբառը։ Շատ բան իմացա բարբառների մասին, իմացա, որ հայերեն բաժանվում են երկու ճյուղի՝ «կը» եւ «ում», և Մշո բարբառը պատկանում է «կը» ճյուղին ։ Այս բարբառով խոսում էին Արևմտյան Հայաստանի Մուշ, Բուլանըխ, Ալաշկերտ, Մանազկերտ գավառներում: Արևելյան Հայաստանի տարածքում հիմա Շիրակի մարզում, Ապարանում, Մարտունիում, Վարդենիսում են խոսում «կը» ճյուղին պատկանող Մշո բարբառով, որովհետև մշեցիները գաղթել հաստատվել են այս շրջաններում։ Մի ամբողջ հունվար մենք ուսումնասիրեցինք Մշո բարբառը։ Ես ինքս արմատներով Մուշից եմ, այնպես որ ինձ շատ հետաքրքիր էին այս դասերը։ Մուշի բարբառի ուսումասիրության ժամանակ մենք կարդացինք շատ հետաքրքիր առակներ, հեքիաթներ, զրույցներ ։ Մշո բարբառն ինքն իրենով այքան էլ դժվար չէր, բայց կային բառեր, որոնք անհասկանալի էին, եւ հենց այդ բառերի համար մենք կազմեցինք բառարան։ Կարդալու ընթացքում, որպեսզի ավելի հասկանալի եւ մեզ համար պարզ լինեին հեքիաթների իմաստները, մենք փոխադրում էինք դրանք արեւելահայերեն։ Այդպիսի փոխադրություններից է «Դեւեն ու գառներ» առակը։ Ես նաեւ ձայնագրություն եմ պատրաստել առակներից մեկը կարդալով «Գիտնականն ու գեղացին»։  Որպես ամփոփում՝ կարող եմ ասել, որ Մշո բարբառի ուսումնասիրումը ինձ շատ դուր եկավ, ես շատ ուրախ էի, քանի որ հնարավորություն ընձեռվեց մի փոքր ավելի լավ իմանալ իմ արմատները։
